New laws in Kazakhstan
On 28 August 2009 new laws were signed by the President of Kazakhstan:
• Law Combat Money Laundering and Terrorism Financing No. 191-IV; and
• Law No. 192-IV, introducing amendments to Certain Laws (in total to 26 Laws, e.g. the Administrative Code, Banking Law, Laws on Advocacy, on Audit Activity, on Corruption, on Notary Activity, on Registration of Immovable Property, on Securities Market, etc.).
These will be effective from 9 March 2010 (i.e. 6 months from the date of their official publication).
