The Consumer Price Index (CPI) is designed to measure the change in the average level of prices paid for consumer goods and services by private households. The CPI can also be used to determine the value of a sum of money from the past at today’s level. In the absence of reliable data, AmCham Azerbaijan has established its own CPI index reported on a quarterly basis.
