Michael Wilson & Partners, Ltd., (MWP) which is one of the Region’s oldest, most respected, established and largest law firms is pleased to announce that it celebrated its 25th anniversary on 14 July 1998, which is a landmark by any standards. Many lesser firms have come and gone, failing to make the grade, to survive and prosper. 

Founded on 14 July 1998 in Almaty, Kazakhstan, the commercial centre of the country, MWP has now successfully carried on business for more than 25 years, and has played a key role over the years in shaping and enabling business, investments and transactions, the knowledge and practice of the law, as part of the growing legal community in Kazakhstan, and throughout the Region. MWP is proud that many of its alumni now occupy key positions in the country and Region. 

Throughout its history, which has included growth to two main offices located in Almaty, Kazakhstan and Baku, Azerbaijan, respectively, as well as with presences in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan and in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, covering the entire Central Asian & Caucusus Region, Russia, the Ukraine and Mongolia. Serving the Central Asian and Caucasus Region, MWP has played a key role in many of the land-mark projects and transactions that the Region has witnessed, and which have had a positive and lasting impact on business, the investment climate, community and life in general.
