138th International Trademark Association’s (2016) Annual Meeting

More than 11,000 intellectual property professionals gathered from 21 May to 25 May in Orlando, Florida for the 138th International Trademark Association’s (2016) Annual Meeting, the premier trademark event for networking, continuing legal education, and committee and client meetings.

This year’s annual meeting was the largest in INTA’s history, attended by brand owners and trademark and IP professionals from all over the world. The event featured 300 valuable customised educational offerings, more than 225 interactive table topics, user group meetings, trademark law sessions focused on international topics, mediation training, an academic series, the Trademark Administrators Brunch, as well as an exhibition hall boasting nearly 100 exhibitors debuting new products and services. Michael Wilson & Partners, Ltd. was represented at this important event by Gulnara Ilyassova, Trademark & Patent Attorney, and Larissa Orlova, Associate.

Founded in 1878, INTA has over 6,700 members, including trademark owners, professionals and academics, law firms from more than 190 countries, all devoted to the support and development of trademarks and related intellectual property as key elements of fair and efficient trade, both domestically and internationally, as well as education and training, and international networking.
