Bankruptcy of J. F. Emmott & the Sequestration of his Worldwide Assets & Estate – 4th Petition for £ 4,849,731 listed for 04.08.26, 10:30am, BST
On 22.05.26, Bankruptcy Judge Baister in the English High Court handed down his landmark consent judgment and order (following on from the prior consent landmark Declaration Judgment and Order of HHJ Pelling KC of 14.01.26, the Judgments/Orders of Costs Master Brown of 07.01.26 and 21.04.26, of Bright J of 01.05.26), dismissing Mr Emmott’s purported statutory demand set-aside application of 02.02.26, issued in BR-2026-000122, requiring payment to MWP of all of its costs, to be assessed if not agreed and with £12,000 to be paid by Mr Emmott to MWP on account within fourteen days.
Bankruptcy Judge Baister expressly gave MWP permission to issue and present a further (MWP’s 4th) Creditor’s Bankruptcy Petittion by 19.06.26 and found, as admitted, that Mr Emmott has nothing left, nothing owing to him, nothing to set-off, no rights of set-off, no counterclaims, no cross-demands and no cross-claims.
On 19.06.26 MWP issued a further (the 4th) Creditor’s Bankruptcy Petition, in BR-2026-000782 requiring payment of the judgment debts outstanding of£4, 803, 437, plus ongoing interest at the 8% judgment rate, plus costs, and which has been listed to be heard on Tuesday, 04.08.26 at 10:30am, BST bringing the amount payable to £4, 849, 731, plus ongoing interest at the 8% judgment rate, plus costs.
In addition, on 19.06.26, Bankruptcy Judge Alhaus issued a further Judgment/Order in favour of MWP, dismissing Mr Emmott’s further purported statutory demand set-aside application of 20.03.26, issued in Insolvency No. 0868 of 2026, and authorising MWP to issue and present a further (MWP’s 5th) Creditor’s Bankruptcy Petition.

“Finally, Mr Emmott will shortly be Bankrupted, and his Worldwide Assets and Estate Sequestrated, bringing to an end the lies, fraud and deceit he has wrongly perpetrated for decades, including by falsely pretending he was owed monies by MWP, when in reality he was not and is and has long been MWP’s Judgment Debtor and Debtor and in all jurisdictions in enormous sums, as the record shows. Mr Emmott’s Bankruptcy and Sequestration will follow on from the bankruptcies of his Temujin Partners, Mr Nicholls (FCA, 2015), Mr Slater (CCC in 2015, FCA in 2016), and his partner and funder Mr Sinclair (I&CL in 2021, and in NZ, the Bahamas and the USA in 2022 and 2023), TIL, TTT and TSL in 2015, and all of which rights and estates MWP now owns and controls, including 67% of the Temujin Partnership wrongly formed from within MWP and at its cost, commencing in early September 2005, and of which Mr Emmott was always the “backbone of the plot”, as Einstein J found”.
