Today Ministry of Taxes of Azerbaijan launches online registration of legal entities
Azerbaijan has stepped into a new format of the state registration of legal entities. Online procedure should considerably shorten registration of legal entities and significantly decrease bureaucracy reducing registration documents from 7 to 2 and steps from 6 to 3.
Ministry of Taxes will not require notarised copies, documents on legal address of the entity as well as immediate opening of a temporary bank account for the company. However, online registration requires possession of an electronic signature by the founder/s of the company. Online registration is available in an express and regular format.
Express registration should take no longer than 5 minutes and is open for entities with a sole founder which is required to submit his personal data, information about the manager of company and company’s field of activity in the system. Rest of the registration documents, including the company’s charter are generated by the system of the Ministry of Taxes.
Regular registration is applied when company has more than one founder which, in turn, requires more detailed information. All registration documents should be uploaded by the founder/s of the company. By means of regular online registration a company can be registered from 20 minutes to 3 days, after submission of the documents.
