MWP advised Marubeni Corporation, the Tokyo Electric Power Company, and Chubu Electric as to acquisition of participatory interests in Kharassan-1 and Kharassan-2 uranium deposits and exploration areas in Kazakhstan and as to the off-take and supply of U308 to Japanese utilities; on going advice in relation to various legal and regulatory amendments affecting the same, especially as to subsoil use legislation, including arising out of the changes subsequently implemented at JSC NAC KazAtomProm as a result of the investigation of the former senior management at all levels.
