MWP advises the Eurasian Development Bank on a US$30.5m lending transaction to finance the construction of an Interregional Power Transmission Line
MWP acted as legal counsel to the Eurasian Development Bank on its US$30.5m lending project to Batys-Transit JSC to finance the construction of an Interregional Power Transmission Line in Northern Kazakhstan - Aktyubinsk Oblast. This is the latest in a string of lending deals which MWP has advised on.
In addition to this project, MWP also advised the Eurasian Development Bank on the US$18.8m financing of a ship repair plant construction in Bautino and the US$25m financing of an associated oil gas recovery project at the Kenlyk Field in Kyzylorda Oblast. The latter provides for the rational usage of associated gas through its utilization and processing in place of flaring. These processed products are used widely as a fuel and at oil and gas enterprises and plants.
